Turbo-Mech Asia Pte Ltd (TMA) was incorporated in 1989 and started as a trading and services company,. Its main business activity is in the supply of high quality products such as pumps, steam turbine, compressors and cooling fans for various applications in the upstream and downstream side of the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
As a trading company, Turbo-Mech is positioned in between the equipment manufacturers and the end users in the value chain. The equipment manufacturers who are our principals, offer a range of products that include API standard compliant equipment.
TMA has established workshops in the Philippines and Singapore in the year 2001 and 2003 respectively. This has enabled our group to provide value-added services to our customers. Besides being appointed as authorized sales representatives for some well established OEM’s rotating equipment, our service centers are also authorized to provide after sales services including maintenance, repairs and overhauling of equipment.
As authorized service centers, our customers are assured that our facilities and technical personnel meet the standards and requirements set by the equipment manufacturers and more importantly being able to receive technical and backup support from these manufacturers. TMA warranties the equipment that are serviced in its workshops. To serve our customer more efficiently and to reduce downtime, we stock common consumables parts as well as certain critical parts.
In 2008, Turbo-Mech Asia,(Singapore) has successfully obtained its ISO 9001:2008 certification. With this certification, TMA has enhanced the quality of the sales and services to its customers.
In April 2010, the parent company – Turbo-Mech Berhad has listed its business on the main market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
